Museum of Natural History - Leibniz Institute for Research on Evolution and Biodiversity at the Humboldt University Berlin
With more than 30 million objects in its zoological, palaeontological, geological and mineralogical collections and with its large exhibition halls the Museum für Naturkunde is one of the five biggest in the world.
The collection is one important basis for research next to other tools such as laboratories and models. Currently, research is organized according to six core areas: A – Evolutionary Research, B – Biodiversity dynamics in space and time, C – (Palaeo-)Ecology, D – Impact Research, E – Applied Research, and F – Science History.
