25-27 June 2013: Climate Change and Nature Conservation in Europe - An ecological, policy and economic perspective in Bonn, Germany.

10-12 June 2013: 5th Symposium for Research in Protected Areas in Mittersill, Austria.

27-29 May 2013: International conference "Climate Change and Regional Response 2013" in Dresden, Germany.

23 February 2013: HABIT-CHANGE organised an exhibition of results at the Botanical Garden of Budapest, Hungary.

19-21 February 2013: The 7th HABIT-CHANGE Project Meeting took place in Bolzano, Italy. The meeting was organised by EURAC.

06 February 2013: HABIT-CHANGE organised a workshop on the effects of climate change on protected areas for the botanist and zoologist colleagues of the Hungarian national park directorates. The Workshop was held at the visitor centre of the Körös-Maros National Park Directorate in Dévaványaon, Hungary.

11 January 2013: HABIT-CHANGE organised a thematic workshop to discuss the need for changes in EU and national policies to better support the adaptation in protected habitats. The workshop was hosted by IOS on in Warsaw, Poland.

2012

04-05 December 2012: HABIT-CHANGE organized an INTERREG Workshop with the projects EU LAKES and BaltCICA to exchange results and discuss further cooperation in regard to adaptation of water management. The workshop was hosted by the IOER in Dresden, Germany.

28-29 November: HABIT-CHANGE was presented at the Local Authority Forum at the Biebrza National Park in Goniadz, Poland.

21-23 November 2012: HABIT-CHANGE was presented at the XXII National Polish School of Water Management: "Sustainable water management vs. climate change" at the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management in Cracow, Poland.

14-16 November 2012: HABIT-CHANGE was presented at the Leonardo Conference of European Geosciences Union - "Hydrology and Society"in Torino, Italy.

15-19 October 2012: The 6th HABIT-CHANGE Project Meeting was held in Gotha, Germany. The meeting was organised by ThüringenForst and the Biosphere Reserve Thüringer Wald/Vessertal.

24-26 September 2012: HABIT-CHANGE organized the “International Conference on Managing Protected Areas under Climate Change” (IMPACT) in Dresden, Germany. The conference informed relevant stakeholders about the project and disseminated its results. 

28 August - 01 September 2012: HABIT-CHANGE was presented at the 3rd European Congress of Conservation Biology in Glasgow, Scotland.

28 May - 02 June 2012: HABIT-CHANGE was presented at the 5th International Scientific Conference on Water, Climate and Environment (BALWOIS 2012) in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia.

24-26 May 2012: HABIT-CHANGE project results were presented at the scientific event Landscape Systems Management (PL: Zarzadzanie systemami krajobrazowymi) in Zwierzyniec, Poland. Representatives of CASRE participated actively with an oral and two poster presentations regarding the project investigations in the Ukrainian Shatsk National Nature Park.

24-27 May 2012: The 21st Workshop of European Vegetation Survey was held by the IAVS Working Group in Vienna, Austria.

08-10 May 2012: The 5th HABIT-CHANGE Project Meeting organised by Danube Delta National Institute for Research and Development was held from 8-10 May 2012 in the Danube Delta (Romania). 

26-29 March 2012: HABIT-CHANGE took part in the international conference“Planet under Pressure” in London, England, by supporting the conference contributions of the German National Committee on Global Change Research (NKGCF) providing general information on HABIT-CHANGE as an interdisciplinary cooperative climate change research project.

19 January 2012: HABIT-CHANGE organized a thematic workshop on the 'methodology to produce Potential Impact Maps (PIM) for protected habitats' at the university of Vienna, Austria.

2011

12 December 2011: HABIT-CHANGE organized the forum “The role of local authorities in adaptive management on protected areas with respect to the climate change”. The event was hosted by Bierbza National Park in Poland.

12-14 October 2011: HABIT-CHANGE and TU-Berlin organized the session "Wie kann der Klimawandel in Schutzgebieten bewältigt werden? Potenziale von Modellierung, Monitoring und Management" at the IALE-D annual meeting on "MMM - Modelle, Monitoring und andere quantitative Methoden in der Landschaftsökologie" in Berlin, Germany.

06-08 October 2011: HABIT-CHANGE was presented at the 4th user meeting "GIS in Nationalen Naturlandschaften" at the Müritz National Park, Germany.

05-06 October 2011: HABIT-CHANGE held a workshop on 'Stakeholder Involvement and awareness raising'at the Triglav National Park in Slovenia. The workshop was aimed at people involved in communication and dissemination efforts in HABIT-CHANGE. The main objective was to discuss effective approaches to communication and exchange ideas for awareness raising regarding climate change and biodiversity.

19-23 September 2011: The 4th HABIT-CHANGE Project Meeting was held in Hungary. The meeting was jointly organized with our partners from Balaton Uplands National Park and Szent István University.

05 July 2011: The HABIT-CHANGE workshop "Harmonizing maps" was held at the IOER in Dresden, Germany. 

25 June - 02 July 2011: The Summer School "Monitoring of Wetland Ecosystems - Environment, Management and Climate Change" was jointly organized by the University of Antwerp, the University of Warsaw, Biebrza National Park, and HABIT-CHANGE.

27-28 June 2011: HABIT-CHANGE was presented as one of 28 good practice examples worldwide at the UNESCO-MAB conference"For life, for the future. Biosphere reserves and climate change", in Radebeul, Germany.

24 June 2011: A HABIT-CHANGE "Remote sensing Workshop" was held at the Rapid Eye office in Brandenburg, Germany.

19 May 2011: HABIT-CHANGE was presented at the 'Klimawandel und Biodiversität – Folgen für Deutschland' conference in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

12-13 April 2011: HABIT-CHANGE was presented at the 'European Conference on Biodiversity and Climate Change – Science, Practice & Policy' in Bonn, Germany. Sven Rannow (IOER) held a talk about 'Adaptive management of climate-induced changes of habitat diversity in protected areas'.

05-07 April 2011: The 3rd HABIT-CHANGE Project Meeting was held in Portorož, Slovenia. The meeting was jointly prepared with our partners from the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park.

22-23 January 2011: The Stakeholder Workshop "Climate induced changes and land management in protected areas" was held at Biebrza National Park, Poland.

2010

25-27 October 2010: HABIT-CHANGE was presented at Euregia 2010,  the international trade fair and congress, in Leipzig, Germany. A technical seminar was held on 27 October. 

28-30 September 2010: The 2nd HABIT-CHANGE Project Meeting took place in Illmitz, Austria, organized by the Lake Neusiedl (Austria)/Fertö-Hanság (Hungary) National Park.

01-03 September 2010: HABIT-CHANGE was presented at the XIX Scientific Symposium 'DELTAS AND WETLANDS 2010' in Tulcea, Romania, during the international conference 'Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve - 20 years'
