Szent Istvan University Department of Nature Conservation and Landscape Ecology


Szent István University Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (SIU FAE) is educating the largest number of nature conservation engineers in Hungary. Within the Faculty, the Department of Nature Conservation and Landscape Ecology is partner in this project. It carries out interdisciplinary research on issues of nature conservation, botany, landscape ecology, grassland management, soil science and publishes the Hungarian Journal of Landscape Ecology.

Contribution of the partner to the project:

Field researches, laboratory measurements and data assessment in the Balaton Uplands and Körös-Maros National Parks; organization of management plans adaptation, communication, dissemination in Hungary.
